Flowers always make me feel happy. Their beauty always captivates me especially when the sun shines on them. In my paintings I try to capture their fleeting beauty and the effect of light.

Swinging Daturas

This datura was painted from a plant growing in a neighbour's garden. The beautiful pendulous trumpet shaped flowers just cried out to be painted.
